OPEN CALL – Summer Crush

We are excited to invite visual artists within all media to apply for this year’s open call for our annual summer exhibition Summer Crush. The theme of 2024 is “Breathe”, and we invite visual artists to interpret this theme as creatively as possible.

In a time of great upheaval, the theme may present itself a much needed breather, but could also relate to politics, physiology, glassblowing, nature and climate or even spirituality and breath work. The curation will be based on the received applications, and the exhibition is scheduled to take place from end of June to August in our gallery in central Copenhagen.

Your application must contain:

  • Max 3 works, incl. measurements, materials and estimated sales price. Please notice: The works can be from different series or unfinished, but please include as much details as possible.
  • CV (if relevant)
  • 500 words on how the work(s) fit the theme

Deadline: May 5 at midnight

All artists will receive an answer before June 1.

Please notice: The work(s) should be delivered to the gallery in Bredgade, Copenhagen. All works will be for sale in the exhibition period, where they will be presented to the gallery’s visitors and collectors. The goal of the exhibition is to inspire as well as give space for emerging talents within the visual arts.
